Your Partner in the Defense of Your Skin

It’s not a cliche: the skin is the body’s largest organ, and an important line of defense. Often, an irregularity on the skin can be a first warning of a larger issue. At Apex Dermatology, our board certified dermatologist Dr. Harp sleuths out early signs of skin damage and determines the best treatment plan.

Our first step in determining exactly what your skin needs is a full skin exam. From there, we can create a plan for the health and beauty of your skin.

Medications or topical treatments often treat most common symptoms. However, skin cancers and other irregularities may require a biopsy to analyze the skin tissue through a microscope. These are performed with local anesthesia and do not require any down time. Our office will follow up with the results typically within 1-3 weeks. All pathology is read in house.

If you have a melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, or basal cell carcinoma, Dr. Harp performs MOHS Surgery - the most precise form of skin cancer surgery - or standard excision. Dr. Harp is a Board Certified member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons and an Associate of the American Society of Mohs Surgery.

Dr. Harp and her Physician Assistants enjoy treating patients of all ages and ethnicities. The greatest honor for Apex Dermatology is when a patient is so happy with their care, they bring in their entire family.
